Majorca, the Island

The island Mallorca belongs to the well known Mediterranean Balearic Islands of Spain, a must for a holiday, either with the family or with friends, or for  romantic couples, and the best idea is, having a nice Villa, or a finca, or a Duplex house, with a private pool, just for you.

Long before the tourist boom, people loved to pass their holidays in the relaxing atmosphere of  the typical Majorcan Stone houses, or in small private villas, on the country side or closer to the beach. Recommended all year long for beach- or sports-holidays, cycling, horse-riding, golf, tennis, and all kind of water sports, and last but not least for the good typical Majorcan and Mediterranean food, nice typical cellers.

The mountains in the north west, or one of the longest beaches in the South, Es Trenc, with special fine white sand. In the south-east is Cala d´Or with its yachting port and a very nice golf-course. An area specially attractive for a higher levelled tourist.
